An In-Depth Breakdown of the Officer-Involved Shooting That Shook Sacramento To The Core

“You can’t look in your backyard.” a Sacramento police officer commanded.

Sequita Thompson was shocked.

“What you mean I can’t look in my backyard?” she retorted.

The 62-year-old grandmother had been watching videos on her computer when 20 shots rang out into the night behind her 4 bedroom house in the 29th street neighborhood in Meadowview, a Sacramento suburb located near Interstate 5. The house was built in 1965 and became a gathering place of sorts for her family.

The officer left moments later. As soon as he did, the now extremely worried and anxious Thompson peeled back the curtain…

Family members of Alfred Bourgeois, the Louisiana truck driver executed under Trump, say the feds got it wrong.

Last year, 56-year-old Alfred Bourgeois of Louisiana was executed at the federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, for the heinous charge of killing his 2-year-old daughter. As the execution was pushed through, media outlets quickly moved on to the next in line as the Trump administration continued to line them up.

In February of 2021, the family of Alfred Bourgeois released a website in his honor. The family disputes the federal government’s theory of the death of Jakaren Harrison.

Federal prosecutors say Alfred Bourgeois flew into a rage after his daughter tipped over a training potty in the cab of…

An arrest report says officers responded to reports of an explosion at a trailer park where Fallis lived with his mother. Upon visiting the scene, officers found evidence of a recent explosion in a parking stall, as well as projectile devices, aluminum foil, and a stash of chlorine tablets.

Fallis’ mother told authorities…

Hole’s mother had expressed concern that the young man planned to commit “suicide by cop” in 2020. Authorities admitted the man to a hospital and confiscated his pump-action shotgun. The weapon was never returned.

Gunfire initially erupted at the facility in the 8900 block of Mirabel Road during the night shift…

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — An avowed Anti-Semite who shot and killed three people outside of two Jewish sites in Kansas City in 2014, including a community center and a retirement home, has appealed his death sentence on grounds of an apparent lack of “understanding legal intricacies.”

Miller was convicted in 2015 for the fatal shooting of three people in an attack meant to target Jewish people, however, the three…
